I have been working in K-12 Career Development for over 25 years. I have been a career counselor and coach during this time in elementary, middle and high school. I have developed and started programs around career academies, career centers and integrating career education into the classrooms. In addition, I run my own private career coaching and training business. I am a Master Trainer for the SCDA and FCD training programs. I am the SCDA representative on the Training and Education Council for NCDA. I have been involved in career development from a grassroots effort in Connecticut and to being involved in the NCDA Board and President of the National Career Development Association in 2014-2015. I have taught and worked with hundreds of people from a variety of different backgrounds including K-12, higher education, human resources, workforce development, corporate trainers, and private practice to name a few settings. My goal is to make sure that your time in the SCDA course is worthwhile, that you can build your toolbox with a variety of exercises, insights, and tools to use with your K-12 students.
